The Mission

To preserve the faith, life and legacy of Emily J. T. Perez through the lives of young girls and women by aiding and empowering them to reach their fullest potential intellectually, socially and economically through a scholarship and mentoring program.

The Vision

• Establish and provide yearly scholarships to young women majoring in the behavioral sciences, education, or medical research in their junior year through post graduate school. The first scholarship was presented in the spring of 2008.
• Establish and provide an afterschool mentoring program.
• Establish and provide an annual summer program for girls ages nine through 19 to teach social and business etiquette, financial management, academic subjects, and to provide recreational activities at a minimum cost to the families. The first summer program is planned for 2009.
• Establish and provide a parenting program for teenage mothers.
• Host an Annual Thanksgiving meal for military service members and their families.
